Peter Andre has reportedly signed a £500,000 modelling contract with designer Christian Audigier.

The 36-year-old singer - who recently shed a stone in weight after losing his appetite following his split from wife Katie Price - will model for the designer's Ed Hardy clothing range, according to The Sun.

A source said: "Christian had a meeting with Peter and they agreed for Peter to become the face of Ed Hardy in Europe."

The source continued: "Christian is launching a new store in London this year and Peter will be a big part of that promotion."

Peter was guest of honour at a party held for the French designer at London's Movida before dining at Nobu with old friend Dani Behr.

Peter told The Sun: "It's amazing how stress keeps you trim. I might be looking all right, but I'm not feeling okay.

"Given the circumstances, I'm not doing as badly as I could be. My favourite tipple is whisky on the rocks but I'm not having a lot because I want to be fresh for work. And I don't really feel like drinking."

But the singer said he was finding his split from 31-year-old Katie, aka Jordan, hard - - particularly being separated from his children, Junior, four, and Princess, two, and stepson Harvey, seven.

He said: "It's so hard every time I have to leave the kids." But the deal with Audigier is set to throw Peter back into the limelight.
