Jennifer Hudson is set to perform at the first state dinner of the Obama White House.

Jen, who won an Academy Award for her role in the movie Dream Girls, is part of a larger lineup that also includes Indian performers, according to an administration official.

The dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is being held in a tent on the South Lawn of the White House to allow the Obamas to invite hundreds more guests than could squeeze into the East Room, which tops out at 140 people.
